ABOUT ME
Elvie L. Barlow Sr. is an Environmental Scientist and advocate of environmental justice. Barlow’s commitment to equality, for all people, has earned him four bronze metals from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. His work is to ensure disenfranchised communities are treated fairly with respect to enforcing environmental laws and regulation is celebrated nationally.
Barlow served with distinction in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. He is a graduate of Thomas University and Albany State University (a Historically Black College and University-HBCU), in Albany, Georgia with a B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics
